Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Lima – Paracas Wildlife – Huacachina Dunes
Our journey begins with an early departure from Lima, traveling south for approximately 3–4 hours. As the fog of the capital lifts, the rugged beauty of the desert coastline emerges.
- The Islands: Upon arrival in Paracas, we board a speedboat for a 2-hour excursion to the Ballestas Islands. We will pass the mysterious “Candelabro” geoglyph etched into the hillside before reaching the islands teeming with sea lions and penguins.
- The Reserve: Back on land, we explore the Paracas National Reserve, stopping at the Cathedral cliffs and the vibrant Red Beach.
- The Oasis: After lunch, a 1.5-hour drive brings us to Huacachina. We conclude the day with an exhilarating 4×4 dune buggy ride and sandboarding session as the sun sets over the dunes.
- Stats: 3-Star Hotel Accommodation included. (Meals not included).
Day 2: The Mystery of Nazca – Return to Lima
Following breakfast, we head further south (approx. 2.5 hours) through the shifting sands of the Ica region toward the Nazca aerodrome.
- The Flight: Board a small aircraft for a 30 to 45-minute flight. From above, the desert floor reveals its secrets: perfectly straight lines and complex animal figures carved thousands of years ago.
- The Journey Back: After the flight, we begin our return journey to Lima. We’ll make a short stop for reflection and local flavors before arriving back at your hotel in the early evening.
- Stats: Flight over Nazca Lines included. (Meals not included).
